Organizing Your Photos
- Try this fun idea. Tell your family's life story--on a long hallway wall. Start with wedding photos, progress with baby pix, more weddings and then photos of grandchildren! Arrange them in the way that best shows the highlights of your family's life.
Don't Throw Out Margarine Tubs or Yogurt Cups
- They can be reused to hold lots of small items that need a home, instead of being tossed into a junk drawer. They can hold rubber bands, pins, screw, nails, paper clips or thumbtacks.
Have An Empty Wicker Basket?
- You can put it to a variety of uses around your home. Fill it with magazines, sewing notions, toys. Larger-size ones can be used for dirty clothes or other clothes storage. They also are decorative!
Books a Mess?
- Organize them in bookcases by category: hobbies, gardening, decorating, fiction, nonfiction, biography, self-help, mysteries, romances or history. You can color-code books with colored peel off dots for each category.
