- To get rid of dust or fingerprints, wipe the handset surface with a dampened cloth. But if it still feels sticky, mix water with a mild detergent solution and rinse off with a clean, lightly dampened cloth. Don’t spray anything into the handset or keys or let any liquid drip into them.
